The Director of Education with the Keewatin-Patricia District School Board is very happy with the news that the Ontario Secondary School Teachers Federation is encouraging its members to resume extra-curricular activities.
Jack McMaster says he’s thrilled that they will start seeing coaches and other student leaders starting to interact with students and work with them outside of the classroom.
McMaster believes that OSSTF’s decision is based on talks the union has had with Ontario’s new premier Kathleen Wynne.
The OSSTF has planned a news conference for Monday.
