Ontario’s public high school teachers appear to be
getting ready to resume extracurricular activities.
The Ontario Secondary School Teachers’ Federation held a vote this afternoon deciding whether to keep protesting government labour negotiations by maintaining a ban on all out-of-classroom duties.
The union issued a release saying local leaders have agreed to suspend their political action and are encouraging members to consider resuming extracurricular duties.
No vote results were available.
The union will hold a news conference on Monday.
