Rickford Reacts To Cabinet Shuffle

Kenora MP Greg Rickford has been left on the sidelines.
Prime Minister Stephen Harper has named Bernard Valcourt as the new Minister of Aboriginal Affairs and Northern Development.
Valcourt, previously a secretary of state for the Francophonie, steps into the void left when John Duncan suddenly resigned last week.
Rickford, who holds the title of Parliamentary Secretary to Aboriginal Affairs, says Valcourt has the experience and he will work with him.
Hiding his disappointment, Rickford stressed he’s a team player and will keep his head down and work hard.
He says main priorities include working with First Nations communities on jobs and growth as well as transparency.
