Kenora-Rainy River M.P.P. Sarah Campbell is now calling on the provincial government to help save the ELA.
In the Ontario Legislature, Campbell says the province can intervene if it chooses.
Campbell says the ELA is a worthwhile facility and needs to remain open.
She notes it won’t cost the Ontario government one cent to intervene.
The clock is now ticking on the ELA, with the facility set to close at the end of March, unless a buyer or some outside agency is found to operate it.
