Couchiching First Nation has elected Chuck McPherson as chief for the fifth time.
McPherson thanked the people of Couchiching that voted for him, and he lauded the many people who ran for a spot in the election, which showed great community spirit.
McPherson says it’s time to start working on some long-outstanding land claims…
