Medical Cabinet Clean-Out

Its time to get rid of your old, out-dated medicine.
The Northwestern Health Unit has launched its annual medicine cabinet clean-out campaign in conjunction with Drug Awareness Week.
Spokesperson Judy Underwood is encouraging local residents to drop off their expired medicine at any local drug store.
Underwood adds that pharmacies will dispose of old medicine all year long, but notes this is a good time to go through your medicine cabinet to check expiry dates.
