The site of the Meno-Ya-Win Health Centre has officially been chosen.
Officials have reached a deal with the Town of Sioux Lookout on 11 hectares of land behind the 7th Avenue Hospital.
In exchange, the Town has received a piece of property being the William George Extended Care facility.
The Municipality will use the $60,000 difference in value as part of community fund-raising efforts.
The new Hospital is scheduled to open in 2006.
Meantime, the Health Centre is welcoming $1.35 million from the Province to help with its operating budget.
