Money For Hospitals

The Dryden Regional Health Centre is benefitting from a Provincial Government plan to help Hospitals fund budget shortfalls.

Despite the Hospital running a $300,000 surplus, officials have still received an extra $972,000.

CEO Andrew Skene says they hope to enhance current services offered at the Hospital.

Earlier this month, the facility received $200,000 to upgrade equipment.

Elsewhere, Atikokan General received $190,000 from the Province.
