Merger Plans In The Works At Patricia Gardens In Dryden

Integration plans between Patricia Region Senior Services and the District of Kenora Board.
Patricia Gardens residents in Dryden will see no changes and in fact could see an increase in some services.
Kevin Queen is the Chief Executive Officer with the District of Kenora Home for the Aged and he sees it as a positive move.
Queen says the voluntary merger is supported by residents and will allow them to share human resources, financial management and accounting.
He notes the Local Health Integration Network is encouraging groups to move forward with integration, so he’s confident the merger will be approved.
