Be prepared to travel for some surgical procedures under a Provincial
Government plan.
Health Minister George Smitherman announced Thursday that they plan
to merge surgical programs to one Hospital in each region.
Dryden Regional Health Centre CEO Wade Petranik notes it’s too early
to tell if this region will be included and notes it makes sense in
Southern Ontario.
