Methamphetamine has not yet become a big problem in Northwestern Ontario.
But Detective Staff Sergeant Brian Brattinger of the Tri-Forces Drug Unit believes the drug will become a problem here in no time at all.
Brattinger notes meth and meth labs have already become prevalent in neighbouring areas like Minnesota and Southern Ontario.
Brattinger adds another popular drug of choice among high school teens is Ritalin which is crushed and sniffed for a long lasting high similar to cocaine.
