Almost 15 years of Liberal rule will be ushered out Friday when Premier-elect Doug Ford and his cabinet will be sworn in at Queen’s Park.
Thunder Bay-Superior North MPP Michael Gravelle says he will be watching closely.
He is anxious to see the make-up and size of the Cabinet and how that will impact our region.
Gravelle says he’s hoping the new government takes a vested interest in northwestern Ontario.
He says it’s going to be an interesting four years but he will ensue that the needs of the north are met at Queen’s Park.
Gravelle adds they still need to learn if the Liberals will be given official party status.
The veteran politician says the reality is they are operating with seven members but stresses they will continue to represent their respective ridings.
