English River Miners goalie Michael Lenko has been named SIJHL Player of the Week.
Lenko started in three consecutive games against Thief River Falls and he won all of them.
The highlight was a 45-save effort for his first league shutout.
The 19-year-old from B.C. faced a total of 119-shots during the series and posted a 1.67 goals-against average and a .957 save percentage.
Lenko sits tied for second in the league in wins with 20, third in average at 2.84 and second with a .921 save percentage.
He was won five in a row and nine of his previous 11 games.
Dryden GM Ice Dogs goalie Patrick Zubick also received consideration.
