Microsoft Scam in Dryden

Another scam is being reported in the Dryden area.
Police say a shyster will call your home claiming to be from Microsoft.
They will tell you that they have been alerted to viruses on your computer.
The caller will ask for remote access to your computer and will show you viruses that have infected it.
They will offer to sell you software to take care of the problem and will ask for your credit card information.
