Midwives Funding

The McGuinty Government is dropping $7 million into employing 55 new Midwives across Ontario.
The Northwest Region will be getting over $200,000 in order to hire 2 new Midwives.
Ministry of Health Spokesperson Dan Strossberg says the program is a unique way of looking after expecting mothers.
The closest Midwife groups are in Kenora and Thunder Bay.
