A milestone for the Ontario Telemedicine Network.
More than 100,000 patients accessed health care through videoconferencing and tele-diagnostic equipment last year.
CEO Doctor Ed Brown says for some residents in Northwestern Ontario, it included remote visits with health providers in Manitoba.
Brown notes they are just beginning to reach their potential.
