Mill Closure in Longlac

The forest industry in Northwestern Ontario is facing another setback.
Longlac Wood Industries has announced the indefinite shutdown of its
waferboard operation.
The move will result in the loss of 110-jobs.
Market conditions and the high loonie are to blame.
The Company’s Plywood Mill in Longlac won’t be affected.
