Employees at the Dryden Weyerhaeuser Mill have voted on a tentative
agreement and results of the vote are expected to be released late Tuesday night.
The decision comes at a time when labour peace is starting to be
reached across the region.
Workers at the Kenora Forest Products Mill in Kenora have voted
84% in favour of a new 4-year contract.
The deal was reached over the weekend after a marathon bargaining
session between the Company, CEP and a Mediator.
CEP Spokesperson John McInnes says employees will be getting a
3% raise in each year of the agreement.
