Members of the Communication, Energy and Paperworkers Union plan to block Highway 17 in Dryden Tuesday in support of the forest industry.
50-individuals are expected on the Trans-Canada around 1:00.
The union says the Federal Government can no longer ignore forestry workers and is demanding immediate action.
The forest industry has lost 130,000 jobs in the past 6-years and CEP says it deserves the same attention as the Big 3 automakers.
A similar protest is being held in Ottawa Tuesday morning around 10 o’clock.
