It is with great sadness that we the family announce the passing of Millie Parenteau age 59 of Wabigoon, on Friday December 6, 2002 at the Dryden Regional Health Centre. Millie was an avid reader. She was also a nature lover, enjoying walking in the bush and bird watching. Millie enjoyed playing darts, sewing and was a fan of wheel of fortune. Other interests included gardening, remodeling furniture, and playing crib. Millie loved a family fish fry and spending time with her family. Millie Parenteau is survived by her husband Bill Parenteau; children Michael Parenteau (Sr); Pamela Wetelainen; Robert (Rhonda) Parenteau and Corina (Roddy) Brown all of Wabigoon. Brothers Jim Johnson (Barbara Coomes) of Thunder Bay and Ken Johnson of Wabigoon. Grandchildren Michael Parenteau (Jr), Tim Parenteau, Aaron Parenteau, Chelsea Perrault, Wade Wetelainen, Michaela Parenteau, Donovan Parenteau and Tiger Brown. Memorial Services for Millie Parenteau will be held on Wednesday December 11, 2002 at 2:00 p.m. at the Dryden Community Funeral Home with Rev. Mary Mennell officiating. Interment of Ashes to follow at a later date.
