The Fort Frances Lakers scored three times in the third period to nip the English River Miners 3-2 Tuesday night at the Cochenour Arena.
Alex Maticic opened the scoring for the Miners with a second period power play goal.
The Lakers rallied before Bryan Kromm made it close late in the game.
