The English River Miners look to put a halt to a five game winning streak for the Fort Frances Lakers.
The Miners host the SIJHL leaders at the Ear Falls Arena Thursday at 7 o’clock.
English River currently sits in a third place tie with Minnesota, but is only one point ahead of Thunder Bay.
The Miners have lost two in a row.
This is the third meeting between the two, with the Lakers winning both games.
However, one game was decided by one goal and the other contest was a two goal differential.
