A heartbreaking loss for the Dryden Eagles High School Football team.
In what was a back and forth game, the Eagles lost 25-21 to Vincent Massey of Brandon in a Semi-Final classic Thursday.
The Eagles battled back from an early deficit to take the lead late in the game.
It appeared the Eagles stopped Vincent Massey with no time on the clock, however in what some are calling a controversial call, Dryden was flagged for pass interference.
That gave the Brandon team one more shot and they punched it through for the game winning score.
It was a bitter end to an amazing season as it was only the second defeat for the Blue and Gold on the year.
