The Dryden GM Ice Dogs offence couldn’t solve a stifling English River Miners defence Tuesday night in a 3-1 loss at the Cochenour Arena.
The Ice Dogs couldn’t muster enough quality opportunities and the Miners scored two, third period goals to put the game away.
Kyle Rosolowski, Michael Di Lullo and Jacob Siebenga scored for English River.
Jacen Bracko replied for Dryden GM.
The Ice Dogs squandered a chance to move into a first place tie in the SIJHL standings, while the Miners continue to roll with five consecutive wins.
Michael Lenko picked up the win making 35-saves.
Jacob Gnidziejko suffered the loss with a 31-save effort.
