Miners Upset Thunder Bay In Ear Falls

A huge win for the English River Miners.
The Miners handed the Thunder Bay North Stars a rare loss as English River defeated the Stars 3-2 in a shootout Tuesday night.
Thunder Bay was spotted a 2-0 lead before Dominic Blouin and John Morales scored 40 seconds apart in the third period to tie the game.
The same two players scored in the shootout to secure the win.
Reigning Pizza Hut player of the week P.D. Melgoza was stellar making 34 saves.
