Red Lake Miners goalie Zach Willms has been named the Monkey Team Sports, by Northland, Performer of the Month for December.
The 20-year-old Goaltender from Camrose, Alberta was undefeated in regulation going 3-0-2-0 helping the Miners get 8 points keeping them in 2nd place going into the New Year.
Wilms currently hold a 13-4-3-1 record and leads the SIJHL in both goals-against-average and save percentage at 2.81 and .924.
Overall into his second season with the Miners in the SIJHL, Willms record sits at 38-13-4-1 including four shutouts and a .922 save mark.
Dryden GM Ice Dogs Forward Justin Pitari also received consideration.
