Mining Act Consultations Underway

The Provincial Government is holding public hearings this week on the new Mining Act.
There have been stops in Sioux Lookout, Thunder Bay and Toronto so far.
Northern Development and Mines Minister Michael Gravelle says they hope to have the legislation ready for third and final reading this fall.
Gravelle says they wanted to get more input into the legislation before it comes back to Queen’s Park.
