Mining Potenial in Sunset Country

14 specific areas in the Region have been pinpointed by the Ontario Geological Survey has having strong mineral potential.
Precious metals such as gold, copper and platinum have been discovered in the Wabigoon-Sturgeon Lake area.
Geologist Dan Russell says its now up to private prospectors and mining companies to further explore the area and its opportunities.
