It is being called a good news budget for all involved.
The Kenora District Services Board has approved its annual financial package with a Municipal levy increase of 1.7% or $184,000.
CAO Sten Lif says to keep operating costs down this year, they had to dip into the Social Housing reserve.
Lif says members also approved a Capital Budget which will pave the way for a new Ambulance Garage in Ear Falls.
