Minister Of Aboriginal Affairs Outlines Priorities

The Minister of Aboriginal Affairs has outlined a list of priorities for the year.
David Zimmer says health and education are the two main components of the plan.
Zimmer says they are working with the Feds to increase funding for schools on-reserve.
He notes funding for off-reserve schools is much higher.
Zimmer adds another priority is improving graduation rates for First Nations students.
He adds mental health and addiction issues are high on their agenda as well as working on resolving outstanding land claims.
