Youth Ranger Program Deadline Extended

The Provincial Government has extended the deadline to apply for the Youth Ranger Program.
Ministry of Natural Resources Spokesperson Karen Boultbee says local high school students now have until tomorrow to apply.
Boultbee says they wanted to give youth a greater chance to take part in the 8-week summer program.
Some of the duties include overnight trips to parks and working with environmental partners and clubs.
Applicants must have been born in 1996, which makes them either 16 or 17 at the time of hire, and they can’t be 18 before December 31st.
