Three Kenora residents have been fined $4,750 for illegal moose hunting.
Diane Neniska was fined $2,000 for discharging a firearm from a roadway, and $750 for making a false statement to a conservation officer.
Stuart Neniska was fined $1,000 for unlawfully hunting big animals, and is not allowed to hunt in Ontario for the next year.
He and Mark Carlson were also fined $500 for making false statements.
In a seperate incident, Salvatore Verduci of Maple, Ontario has been fined $3,500 for illegal moose hunting in the Atikokan area.
He has been banned from hunting in Ontario for 2-years.
