Four and five year olds are filling up classes in the Keewatin-Patricia District School Board.
Full-day kindergarten is in its third year, and 6 new classes were added this year in area schools.
Director of Education Jack McMaster says there’s endless opportunities for the children to learn.
McMaster says children are getting exposure to literacy and oral language opportunities.
After 2015, all schools in the district will have full-day kindergarten.
17-schools and roughly 525 kids will receive the program.
