The closure of the number-9 paper machine at the Kenora newsprint mill
has again renewed calls for Provincial help.
Area Municipalities will no doubt turn up the heat on the McGuinty
Liberals with another 200 or more jobs disappearing.
Natural Resources Minister David Ramsay could not be reached for
comment however Spokesperson Ginette Albert says they are closely reviewing
the Council Report on Forestry.
