A new contract for Secondary Teachers is not expected to be reached
this week.
High School instructors and the Keewatin-Patricia District School
Board are sitting down Monday and Tuesday.
However, the Provincial Negotiator that was scheduled to be on hand to
work on the fine details was called away.
The Government wanted a 4-year contract in place by June 1st but the
Board has been given an extension to qualify for thousands of dollars in
special funding.
