Mischief at Springwater Restaurant

A local man has been arrested and charged for mischief following an incident that occured at the Springwater Restaurant and Apartment Complex on Dec 26th. Between the hours of 7:30pm and midnight someone made a hole in an interior wall between the restaurant and a corridor which leads to the upstairs apartments. The suspect never gained access to the restaurant. Police have charged a 34 year old, who is a resident of one of the apartments, in relation to the incident. Edward Hamel was arrested on Dec 28th and in addition to the mischief charge is also being charged with breach of recognizance. Hamel is being held pending a show hearing.
