Miss McKenzie Docked

As a safety precaution, the Town of Red Lake has suspended ferry
service between Cochenour and McKenzie Island.
CAO Brian Anderson says the bottom of the hull of the Miss McKenzie
needs major repairs.
Anderson says he hopes to have the boat repaired and re-certified by
the end of next week.
He notes they can’t put another boat in service to fill the void
because of safety issues.
