A 50-year-old Fort Frances area man is lucky to be alive after battling the frigid cold for over a month.
David Hogan went missing December 11th after he walked away from Lake of the Woods Hospital in Kenora.
OPP say Hogan was located Saturday on an ice-road just south of Kenora.
Hogan is back in Hospital and remains under observation after suffering hypothermia and sever frostbite in both feet.
No details have been released on the events surrounding his disappearance or how he managed to survive.
