It was cool, extremely wet, and players battled through wind and a messy field, but the last High School Soccer games of the regular season still went on in Dryden Tuesday.
The Eagles Girls defeated Beaver Brae 4-0 with Lilly Cordeiro leading the way with a pair of goals and Fiona Cook and Saige MacLeod adding singles.
Dryden then fell short against the Saint Thomas Aquinas Saints, falling 2-1.
Sophie Armit found the back for the net for the Eagles.
The Dryden Boys were cooled off falling 2-0 to the Broncos and 5-0 to the Saints.
The Playoffs are scheduled for Fort Frances on June 9.
