Hot days have been few a far between this summer which has been bad news for most of us, including area farmers.
But surprisingly, Kim Joe Bliss says some crops have been fairing better than others.
Bliss says the weather this summer has allowed for a second yield of hay which didn’t happen last year.
She is quick to point out that more heat is needed before the growing season ends.
