A rash of forest fires are being reported by the Ministry of Natural Resources.
26 new blazes sparked since Friday across the region.
Three of 67 fires to date in northwestern Ontario are still active.
The two largest are in the Whitedog area, while another human-caused fire is being battled at the south end of Shoal Lake.
Information Officer Jonathan Scott says the fire hazard is high right now.
