Although there is still over a month to go in the forest fire season, things are starting to wind down.
There were no new fires in the region on the weekend.
There are 10-active fires but none are considered serious.
Meantime, the Ministry of Natural Resources is continuing to provide fire fighting assistance out west.
Currently 300 personnel are in British Columbia, while 66 are in the Northwest Territories.
A rotation of new workers will be arriving in B.C. later this week.
