Nominations Being Accepted For Major Award

Time is running out to nominate someone for the Mary Carpenter award in Sioux Lookout.
The ‘People Making Changes’ award goes to individuals who work to promote equality and dignity of all people and someone who has inspired change.
The deadline to nominate someone is August 31st.
Past recipients include Terry Lynne Jewell, the Meno-Ya-Win Health Centre, Mark Gaudet, Jackie Craig, Florence Woolner, Peggy Sanders, Garnet Angeconeb and Laurel Wood..
The award is open to anyone in the Sioux Lookout, Hudson and Lac Seul area.
The award recipient will be announced September 16th.
