MNR Forest Fire Season Underway

The 2007 forest fire season is offically underway.
The Ministry of Natural Resources is closely monitoring the entire
Northwest due to a dry fall and winter.
Information Officer Debbie McLean says the public must follow certain
guidelines when it comes to setting outdoor fires.
Day burning is prohibited and its recommended that residents check with their
Municipality before doing any outdoor burning.
