MNR Lifts Open Fire Ban

Campers in Northwestern Ontario will be happy this weekend.
The Ministry of Natural Resources is lifting a Restricted Fire Zone (RFZ) in the region as of midnight tonight.
The move follows heavy rain yesterday in the area.
While open fires will be permitted, MNR officials are still urging extreme caution.
More than 55 forest fires are still burning in the Northwest.
