Trapping season is here and the Ministry of Natural Resources is out with some reminders.
Spokesperson Dwayne Brown says they want to avoid human-animal conflicts and that’s why everyone should be aware of the risks.
Brown says trappers should be keeping a close eye on their pets and the dangers that surround them in the bush.
He notes the government is using humane, instant-kill traps.
