36 Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources personnel are now in British Columbia to help fight forest fires there.
Those that have gone include eight FireRanger crews and incident management staff for planning, logistics and aerial preparations.
The Ministry of Natural Resources is also shipping equipment to help with the cause.
Officials say the forest fire rating is low to moderate across our region.
There is no word on how long the crews are expected to stay.
