Although rain is in the forecast, the Ministry of Natural Resources is still urging folks to be careful with outdoor fires.
Fall brings hunting, outdoor activities and summer camp clean-up, meaning campfires are likely.
The fire hazard is low across much of the northwest, however high in the western section of the region.
There were two new fires reported Tuesday, one in the Sioux Lookout area and one in the Nipigon district.
Both were declared out the same day.
The MNR still has equipment in Alberta, B.C. and Saskatchewan.
