The provincial government is warning local residents about the penalties for dumping any material on public land.
It has become an ongoing issue for the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry.
Officials say if caught and found guilty, dumping on Crown land can result in fines of up to $10,000.
Individuals may also face additional fines of up to $1,000 for each day the material or substance isn’t cleaned up.
If you catch someone breaking the law, you are asked to call the MNR or Crime Stoppers.
