Mock Disaster Exercise In Sioux Lookout

The Sioux Lookout Municipal Airport is planning a mock disaster.
Provincial Police, EMS, fire and emergency services, the Ministry of Natural Resources, the Meno-Ya-Win Health Centre and airport personnel and tenants will all be involved.
The event is being held in late September, however the exact day won’t be released to anyone.
Officials say if residents see smoke or a fire and increased emergency vehicle traffic later this month, they should not be alarmed.
The exercise is required by Transport Canada.
